Junior Achievement of Wisconsin - Northeast Region provides several ways that you can get involved whether you're someone looking to volunteer, part of a district or school looking for educational materials, or part of a business looking to help us expand the reach of our mission.

JA Biztown

JA BizTown® - Capstone Experience

  Where: Community First Career Exploration and Financial Literacy Center: Appleton, WI

JA BizTown begins with in-class learning and culminates with a day-long visit to a fully interactive, simulated town where students operate the economy of a small city.

Young Entrepreneur Competition

JA Young Entrepreneur Competition - Northeast

  Where: JA Community First Career Exploration and Financial Literacy Center, 11 Tri-Park Way, Appleton, WI
 Time Investment: 6:30 pm

JA's Young Entrepreneur Competition is a competition between young entrepreneurs in the State of Wisconsin who are students between 9th and 12th grade that successfully turned a business idea into a reality in the form of a fully operational commercial enterprise. Four applicants will be chosen by our selection committee (the “finalists”) who will compete for a $5000 scholarship and other prizes in a taped television event in Milwaukee, WI.

JA Stock Market Challenge

JA Stock Market Challenge

  Where: In-Person: In Our Community
 Time Investment: Half Day

As a volunteer, you'll help guide students through the JA Take Stock in your Future curriculum and apply it to the real world with a team of 3 - 4 students in a live simulation Competition. During the Competition you'll support them as they build their portfolio and spend 60 days in a fictional stock market to see how their investments perform. We are looking for volunteers as 'floor traders' too.
